Volunteer Center - January

Volunteers like you are essential to providing food for Oklahomans living with hunger

Through this on-site volunteer experience, volunteers like you sort, pack and prepare food for a variety of Regional Food Bank Programs. Activities may include:

• Assembling sacks of nutritious food for the Food for Kids Backpack Program
• Packing Commodity Supplemental Food Program boxes full of food for seniors living on fixed incomes
• Sorting and packing bread, produce, package meals and/or cans
• Tagging bags
• Cleaning

Because the Regional Food Bank's inventory changes daily, the Regional Food Bank cannot guarantee volunteers who sign up to work in the Volunteer Center will pack and prepare food for a specific program.

Volunteers must be at least 8 years old to volunteer for this project. Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Please note that the Volunteer Center will be CLOSED during the following shifts.
Wednesday, January 1st - ALL Shifts (Holiday) 
Tuesday, January 14th - Afternoon Shift (Special Event)
Thursday, January 16th - Evening Shift (Special Event)
Friday, January 24th - Afternoon Shift (Special Event)

SPECIAL VOLUNTEER SHIFT: We are hosting two additional volunteer shifts to exclusively pack backpacks for the Food for Kids Backpack Program. We have opened two shifts on Sunday, January 12th at 9:30 am and 1:30 pm, scroll down to register.
