About
Urban Harvest is an educational gardening program that grows fresh food for childhood hunger programs, while providing fresh food education through field trips, after school activities, and school break day camps.
Urban Harvest welcomes volunteers of all skill levels and ages. Garden volunteer work includes pulling weeds, composting, and other garden maintenance.
Be prepared to get dirty!

Requirements
- Please do not wear flip flops, sandals or any other open-toed or open-heeled shoes. Volunteers wearing these will not be able to work in the garden.
- You will be working outside. Dress according to the weather. Don't forget hats and sunscreen!
- If you are under 18, please fill out a Parental Consent Form and bring it with you when you come to volunteer. You may also email it to: volunteer@regionalfoodbank.org

In the event of inclement weather, we will have to cancel this shift. If it predicted to rain (more than a 50% chance) the morning of your shift, or the temperature is predicted under 36°F at 8am, garden volunteering will be cancelled.
Be aware that the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma is a smoke free facility and tobacco use is only permitted in private vehicles. There is no tobacco or electronic cigarette use of any kind permitted in our garden.
