About
Our Senior Mobile Pantry and Fresh Food Mobile Market programs are a great opportunity for you to help us distribute food to underserved populations. A few hours of your time each month can truly make a difference for those who are counting on the Regional Food Bank for a little extra help.
Mobile Pantry volunteers meet a Regional Food Bank truck at a designated location where they help bag food, pass it out to the community residents, and clean up afterwards.
Mobile pantry distributions nearly always take place outdoors.
Our minimum volunteer age is 8 years old. Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Requirements
- Please do not wear flip flops or sandals. Smashed toes make us sad.
- Dress according to the weather.
- If you're under 18, please fill out a Parental Consent Form and bring it with you.
- Please arrive on time. You do not need to arrive early.
- You will be meeting a food bank truck and coordinator on site.
